ClearCare’s Phil McVay and Sam Evans will be attending the Looked After Children: Improving Life Chances 2018 Conference, in Manchester on Wednesday the 5th of December.

The Conference will explore the challenges facing the care system and the children and young people it is designed to support, Open Forum Events are hosting The Looked After Children: Improving Life Chances conference, at the Manchester Conference Centre, 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The Looked After Children: Improving Life Chances conference will offer delegates the opportunity to be fully briefed on the current situation within the care system and gain an update on the latest developments in terms of policy and funding. Guided by a line-up of expert speakers, the agenda will address some of the major child protection issues facing those entering the care system and examine the support needed to ensure that looked after children receive the best possible care and can look forward to a bright future.

Phil will be a member of the Panel debate discussion, focussed around “Co Operation, Communication, Collaboration”. This panel debate will discuss how cooperation can be improved, address the barriers that hinder multi-agency communication and explore how to overcome the challenges of collaborative working to deliver improved outcomes for children.
