Our 20th birthday isn’t the only thing that we’re celebrating this year – we’re very excited to announce that Version 6 of Clearcare is coming soon!
Throughout our 20-year history, our customers have been at the heart of the Clearcare system. Since development of V6 began in 2018, the care sector has faced monumental challenges, putting further strain on delivery pressures and having an impact on the amount of time staff have to do what they do best – delivering quality care.
Through it all, we’ve been watching and listening to our customers, developing a wishlist of features to help our customers further reduce administration time, improve productivity and demonstrate compliance.
Our in-house team of developers have been working hard to ensure V6 is everything you want it to be and more – and it’s almost ready for lift-off!
What can you expect from Clearcare V6
Whether you’re a new customer joining the Clearcare family or an existing customer migrating from V5, our support team will be there to help guide you through the on-boarding process.
For existing customers, we’ll be running webinars to show you the system before upgrade and providing easily digestible help guides to guide you through the changes. We’ll ensure that you’re off to a flying start with minimal disruption. We’ll be sending regular emails too, so keep an eye on your inbox – and don’t forget to follow us on LinkedIn for the latest news!
Most excitingly, a host of new and improved features will empower you with the ability to improve productivity, remove administrational hours and build a complete digital care record to better demonstrate care quality and compliance.
Here’s a couple of our favourite new features:
Increased security Single Sign-on/MFA
The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the need to be able to view your care data in real time, wherever you are. For V6 we have beefed up security, with single sign-on and multi-factor authentication to keep your account secure, so you can peruse your data in confidence!
YP Journal and YP Voice
Young people MUST be allowed to have an input in the delivery of their care. That’s why V6 allows residents to add comments, text and voice notes to any documents or procedures relevant to them. That means you can not only demonstrate regulatory compliance easily, but you can get feedback straight from the horse’s mouth, too.
Adios, admin panel!
When you login to V6, you might notice something is missing. Don’t worry though, we haven’t scrapped the admin panel altogether! Instead, we have absorbed all of the admin features into their relevant modules for a more streamlined experience
For example, if you want to remove an employee record, you will be able to do this within the Employees module, without having to go back and forth between the module and the admin panel.
There’s lots more to come
We’ve got lots more exciting stuff to tell you about V6, so watch this space!
A Message from our Founder, Phil
We started Clearcare in 2003 because we wanted to help children’s residential homes better demonstrate their care quality by using technology to record care data.
Back then, all data was recorded on paper, and care management software as we know it didn’t exist. As a result, hard-working care home managers were often overwhelmed with administrative burden, and anxious about falling short during inspections.
We wanted to create a service-focused management solution that would ease this pressure on managers. We created the first Clearcare software to help our own care homes manage their sensitive data and daily activities. In those days the cloud was still the great unknown, but as technology progressed, more care homes saw our software and began asking for their own versions. As our customer base grew, we listened to the feedback we received from care managers and residents, and their preferences have helped shape every new version of our software.
I’m incredibly proud of everything Clearcare Solutions has achieved over the last twenty years, including the exciting new launches we’ve got planned for the coming months. We’re always striving for improvement, and the best is definitely yet to come!
